  ICICI Bank charged a heavy fee for a check that was deposited in some other city. Dad was told that the account was par payable in any city which has an ICICI Bank Branch. But still the charges were levied.

  My dad is now opening an account in Standard Chartered. Charges are going to be somewhat similar but at least we would get ‘some’ form of service.
